I can't believe wedding season is already here! I had my first wedding of the year this last weekend, and many more to come (including my own!). I'm finally getting back in the swing of things after being gone for a couple weekends. My next travel plans aren't until the 4th of July, so I should be getting back into my Monday, Wednesday, Friday posting schedule (hopefully). As much as I love traveling, I am such a homebody at heart, and I'm so glad to be home for the next several weekends. This past weekend I was in North Carolina for my cousin's wedding. We had a great time and the weather was perfect! I wore this outfit for traveling home on Sunday and I also wore mostly the same outfit on the way there. I linked the other top I wore as well (as seen on Instagram) because it is one of my favorite classic T-shirts, (I have it in a ton of colors) and I highly recommend it.

Happy Friday Eve! In the past couple weeks we have had a lot of back and forth weather. One day it's cold, then next it feels like summer. This type of outfit is perfect for a day when you're not sure how warm it will get. Layers are essential during spring in Michigan, because you never know when you will need a coat, or when you'll need to take a layer off. I got these shoes last year, and they are still one of my favorites. I love that you can lace them up differently to give them a unique look, or you can wear them with jeans. They are super comfortable too. This week sure has been doing by fast (it helps that I wasn't at work on Monday). Tomorrow I'm off to North Carolina for my cousin's wedding. This weekend was such a special weekend in Philly! We went to meet my precious new niece that was born Saturday, Charlotte Ruth. She is so perfect and I love her so much already. I may be biased, but she is seriously the cutest thing I have ever seen! I already love being an aunt and I miss her already! Now she is settling in at home and I can't wait to go back and visit again.
I absolutely love this off the shoulder top (minus the fact that it wrinkles easily-not ideal for traveling). It would also be so cute with a high waisted skirt! This weekend we finally had some sandal weather, and I couldn't be happier to break out these white strappy sandals. The weather was perfect all weekend which was perfect for walking around the city and walking to and from the hospital all weekend to visit Charlotte & her parents.
This week is off to a crazy start. Luckily, it is a short work week and I'm off to North Carolina next weekend. Hope you all have a great week!
I've been bad about getting my posts up on time lately! Better late than never. We've had quite a few wedding meetings and appointments so I'm blaming it on that. Tonight is our food tasting which I'm really excited about!
Still no baby yet. I'm dying to meet her! Hoping she comes in the next couple days!
