Sharing one of my favorite summer looks today AND this skirt is on sale for less than $20! I love a fun mini skirt for summer and this one is so adorable with the ruffles. I've been on a major navy kick lately. I wanted to add a little more color to the look so I added my favorite summer bag charm.
I can't believe how fast summer is flying by! Next week is August and I seriously can't believe it. I certainly am not ready to head back to school, but there is something about fall I just love. Some of my #Nsale purchases are still coming in, and I'm so excited to start wearing some of the pieces. Happy Monday! I wore this beautiful navy number to a recent wedding we attended in Chicago. I loved that it was a little more formal because of the length, but it was still so summery with the sheer bottom & lightweight fabric. It was the perfect length on me with heels, but I'm almost 5'8" so if you are on the shorter side, you might need to get it altered.
We don't have any more weddings this summer, but we do have a special date coming up from a special wedding last summer :) For our anniversary we decided to stay downtown at the Inn on Ferry Street in the same suite we stayed the night of our wedding. I'm so looking forward to being there again, remembering our special day, and celebrating our first year of marriage.

It reminds me of something Kelly Kapowski would wear (any other Saved by the Bell fans out there?!) which makes me loved it even more. AND it is only $25. Remember, if there is something you want that is sold out or they don't have your size, keep checking back in on it online because sometimes items get restocked or different sizes become available as people return them. Today is the day! The NSale has begun! This sale can be overwhelming to say the least. It can be easy to get caught up in the sale and end up over-buying. It's important for you to know what you need/want going into the sale to help keep you focused. I didn't want to overwhelm anything with this post so I just decided to pick my top twelve from the sale (& you can find a few more items I'm loving at the bottom). I'm explaining why they are my top picks and how much they cost during the sale vs. their original price. My advice is to shop the sale online first before going to the store. If you think online is overwhelming, in store shopping is 10 x more overwhelming (and frustrating when you can't find your size). Remember, it's okay to buy something in two sizes if you are unsure. Nordstrom always offers free shipping and free returns!

First up are these classic Tory Burch boots. They are come in two different colors (brown and black) and they are fall staples. You won't find a price lower than this when it comes to TB boots. I've had all of my similar pairs for years and they last so long. In most of my TB boots, I go down half a size, so keep that in mind if you are buying them for the first time.

Next up, are these gorgeous Stuart Weitzman boots. They also come in two colors (this brown color and black). These are classics and you can't go wrong with either color!

I'm always looking for a few cute new sweaters at the Anniversary sale. Whenever October rolls around, I start wearing my sweaters to death. This one is perfect because of the classic black color, but the interesting fun neckline.

Alo leggings are my favorite when I'm looking to spend a little more on a pair of leggings (I also love Zella like these ones that are also on sale - $42!). This is a great price forthese. I have a pair of whites ones and they aren't see through at all. Great quality leggings. These specific ones come in black and white.
