Favorite Fall Cardigan

I recently wore this look on a day that started a little chilly and ended up getting very hot.  I love the cooler mornings we've had because it's the perfect excuse to wear some of my new cardigans.  Layers are essential for transitioning into fall because the temperatures can change so much throughout the day.  I have this cardigan in two different colors and I LOVE it. It runs a little big (so size down), but it is so cozy. I love the length & fit.  Also, this bag, that I've been carrying non-stop since July, is on MAJOR sale. It can easily transition into fall and it is seriously one of my all-time favorite bags.
Last but not least, these jeans. I can't say enough good things about them. They are seriously the most comfortable jeans you will ever own. I got them from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and now I'm obsessed with this brand. I've bought 4 different pairs of them after these! They are seriously the BEST. Try them out, you won't regret it.

Fall Ready

I am so excited to start wearing some of my fall pieces and this jacket is on the top of my list. It's still a little to warm to wear it now, but I know I'm going to wear it a TON this fall. I love the gold detailing on this jacket and it is so soft.  I also love the fit. I feel like most leather jackets are boxy and  not as fitted like this one. It runs TTS and I'm wearing the XS (for reference).
Also, I got these jeans from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I've already worn them so much. They are super stretchy and I love that there is only a small amount of distressing. They have been my go-to jeans this summer.
I got this tee from Thread Tank along with a couple others -there are so many cute ones! They are so soft and easy to throw on whenever.
Happy Friday Eve! I'm trying to enjoy every last bit of this week before it's back to work all next week for meetings and professional development. Wishing summer could last just a little bit longer! Have a wonderful weekend!

My Favorite Blouse

Happy Tuesday! We took these photos at one of my very favorite places when we were downtown for our anniversary weekend. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place.  The Inn on Ferry Street is where we stayed for our wedding, and we stayed in the same room for our one year anniversary. It is the cutest little B&B made up of 4 restored mansions. Each room is unique & so beautiful. If you're looking for a fun place to stay in Detroit, I highly recommend it!
I've worn this blouse so many times already and I love so much about it.  The ruffles and embroidery are so cute & you can't go wrong with blue and white stripes. The best part is that it is under $20! Like I said, I've worn it a ton already and it's holding up really well and seems to great quality.  Sometimes with more inexpensive items, you get what you pay for (aka it falls apart or is poorly made), but that does not seem to be the case with this blouse!

Fall Inspired Neutrals

I recently wore this look for a date night and I just adore this dress. I got it from the Nsale and I think it was my favorite purchase! I am always freezing at restaurants in the summer because the AC is always on blast, so this dress was perfect with it's long sleeves! I wore it with these nude heels, but it would be perfect with OTK boots when it gets a little cooler out.
Now that it is already August, I am getting so excited to start wearing some of my new fall pieces. I certainly am sad to see summer coming to an end, but fall fashion is my absolute favorite! For now I'm soaking up all the last bits of summer I can!
