Date Night

Top: Nordstrom, Pants: Nordstrom, Earrings: J. Crew (also love these), Wedges, Bag: Nordstrom (very similar reversible one here), Sunglasses: Tory Burch (sold out but very similar here), Necklace: Kate Spade, Lips: Laura Mercier 'Crushed Berry' with Stila 'Bella' gloss (my new combination I'm OBSESSED with)

I wore this outfit last night for a movie & ice cream date. This tunic is honestly perfect and you can't beat the price. If you haven't snagged one (or multiple) from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, hurry before it's too late (prices go back up August 3rd). I can't wait to wear this tunic with this faux fur vest I also got from the Anniversary sale (I love this one too)! I'm also loving this cognac bag. It is perfect for fall. Unfortunately, this exact one is sold out, but an almost identical one, that is reversible, is still available. I have that one also in the blush color.  They are such great bags! I haven't worn either of my two pairs of J. Crew statement earrings in awhile, so I thought it was time to pull them back out. I can't wait to wear this outfit with my new Frye boots once it cools down a bit! Just FYI if you are looking to order those Frye boots, the reviews all said they run small, but I actually had to go down half a size so you might want to try them on before you buy or order a few sizes! I'm getting a little too excited about fall (minus the back to school part). Hope you all have a great weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Summer Heat

Top: ASOS (similar), Skirt: H&M (striped version available in stores), Shoes: old similar here and here love these, Sunglasses: PradaBag: Tory BurchEarrings: ILY Couture, Lips: MAC 'Candy Yum Yum'

The weather lately has been hot, hot, hot! This sleeveless crop top is perfect for the heat. Also a bun is definitely necessary to keep cool in the scorching temperatures.  My hair is just too long to be down when it is over 90 degrees. Black and white is a classic color combination that I wear a lot, so when I saw this skirt (on sale) I knew it would be perfect for me and that it would get a lot of use. Now is the time for year to scoop up the summer pieces that are going on sale, especially classic pieces you know you'll wear next summer. Thanks so much for reading!

Off the Shoulder

Dress: Chicwish, Hat: J. Crew (similar), Shoes, Bag: Rebecca Minkoff, Necklace: Kate Spade, Sunglasses: Tory Burch (sold out but very similar here)

I absolutely love this blush off the shoulder dress. It is perfect for a hot summer day. I love the ruffle detail. It runs a little big, but it is so comfortable! Dresses are what I wear the most of in the summer, and I am constantly looking for comfortable lightweight dresses that I can dress up or down. I loved pairing it with comfortable wedges and one of my favorite summer hats. I am off to spend the day on the lake. Hope you all have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

Pretty in Pink

Top: She inside, Skirt: She inside, Shoes: Nordstrom very similar here and here, Hat: Nordstrom, Bag: Tory Burch, Sunglasses: Prada, Lips: MAC 'Candy Yum Yum' (this gloss is my new fave!), Earrings: ILY Couture (on major sale now)

This is one of those outfit that I wish I could wear every day.  It has all of my favorite things: pink, stripes, off the shoulder, and a classic vibe. I absolutely adore this top. It fits perfectly and it is stretchy so it is super comfortable. Some off the shoulder tops are not comfortable at all, but this one is fantastic. I also love the color of this skirt & the length. This skirt actually comes with a different striped shirt, however it didn't fit me at all. I like this one so much better anyway. I've been majorly slacking on putting together my posts, but I'm starting to catch up. I have so many outfit pictures done, but not the posts to go with them. I figured I would have so much time in the summer, but it turns out I'm busy doing other fun things too- haha! This weekend was our last wedding of the summer (our 4th), then a few free weekends before school madness begins again. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bites

Today I wanted to share one of my favorite little treats that I like to make. They are the perfect little bite size treat that you can have for breakfast, a snack, or when you need something a little sweet.  They are really easy to make and you don't need very many ingredients. All you need is oatmeal, coconut, vanilla, peanut butter, honey, flaxseed, and mini chocolate chips (optional). You mix all the ingredients together and let it chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes.  Then roll the dough into balls (whatever size you'd like) and you're done! Keep they refrigerated to keep them fresh longer.  The exact recipe can be found below. You don't have to add the chocolate chips (but I ALWAYS opt in when it comes to chocolate!)

Here is the exact recipe:

1 cup oatmeal
1 cup coconut flakes
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 cup honey
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup flaxseed
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Try them out and let me know what you think!
