Black & Blush

Sweater similar here, Jeans, Sneakers similar here, Lips, Hat, Bag, Sunglasses, Jacket (old) similar here and love this

Happy Monday! I certainly wasn't expecting to wake up to see snow on the ground yesterday morning. It seems winter is back in full force.
I LOVE these sneakers. I just got them and I am obsessed! The velvet makes them so fun to wear, but they are easy to throw on with any outfit.  I also just got these jeans and I love the slit in the front and they are also SO comfortable (and under $60!).
I can't believe it is already almost February! I'm so looking forward to February.  Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays. It is so fun being a teacher and getting to celebrate holidays with your students. It is so cute to see them all pass out valentines to each other. Also, who doesn't love an excuse for a date night and roses? And of course lots of festive desserts! Even though some people say it is a cheesy Hallmark holiday, I think any day to celebrate the people you love is a good day. ALSO, I get to go visit my niece in Philly in February and I can't wait!
Hope you all have a great week!

Navy & Neutrals

Poncho similar here and here, Fur wrap similar here, Beanie, Leggings, Boots, Bag

Happy Friday Eve! Thankfully the week is going by quickly, probably because it has been such a busy one for me. School has been crazy busy and I have two big baking orders for this weekend that I have been working on. However, this look is from last weekend. I've been loving navy lately and I wear it every chance I get. I love how these boots and this faux fur poncho dress up this otherwise very casual look.
It actually warmed up quite a bit last weekend and I felt a little silly wearing a beanie (I guess I should have looked at the weather before leaving the house). Usually when the weather reports say it will be "warm" in January in Michigan it means above freezing, but it was almost 60 (you may have seen my happy dance on Instagram). I'm hoping we have a couple more warm days like that in the next month or two to get us through the winter!
Hope you all have a wonderful end of your week!

Wifey Tee

This week we were lucky enough to have an extra unexpected day off school. After having MLK Day off on Monday, we were surprised to find out we didn't have school on Tuesday due to the bad ice storm we had. Zach actually made it half way to school before he found out his school was closed. We happily enjoyed a day relaxing, lounging, running errands, and catching up on our latest shows (Homeland-we are almost all caught up!).
The weather on Tuesday was so weird. Halfway through the day it got warmer and SO foggy. I wasn't planning on wearing my Hunter boots, but the weather was so wet and gloomy I decided to wear them last minute. As I've said before, I'm obsessed with these leggings. I think I might need to get another pair. They are perfect for yoga, barre, or just running errands. I've also been living in my 'wifey' tee lately. It is so comfortable! This bracelet came in my latest Rocksbox set and I definitely will be keeping it. I love how it looks layered or alone. You can get a month of Rocksbox free with code 'sreichelxoxo'!
Happy Friday Eve!

Downtown Ice Skating

Happy Friday Eve! I'm happy to say I almost made it through my first week back after winter break!
On the last day of winter break, I finally convinced Zach to go downtown and go ice skating with me. We've gone a few times in the past few years, usually before Christmas, and it is always so much fun. I definitely don't have any ice skating skills and I'm always happy I don't wipe out. It was VERY cold that day and as we were walking to the rink from our car, I almost chickened out and said we should just go to lunch because the wind was BRUTAL.  Zach on the other hand was wearing not coat or gloves and saying it was fine - but seriously it was like 17 degrees with a wind chill making it feel like less than 5 degrees! But once we got to the rink the wind wasn't as bad, and it really wasn't that cold (once you got used to it). We didn't make it too long, but it was still fun. Visiting the warming hut for hot chocolate and warm chocolate chip cookies certainly helped too!
I love wearing neutrals in the winter. I went with an all white look for our ice skating adventure and lots of faux fur. The fur cuffs were the perfect way to dress up the (ugly) ice skates we had to rent at the rink. I love how versatile these cuffs are! I've worn them with ice skates, boots, booties (seen above also), and even on my coat sleeves! They are the perfect winter accessory (and under $50).
