They say Cabo San Lucas is where the desert meets the sea, and it sure is a stunning one-of-a-kind place. We just got back from a wonderful week-long trip to Cabo San Lucas and I wanted to share a few details. We stayed at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach and it was so gorgeous. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking to go to Cabo. There are other Pueblo Bonito resorts in Cabo as well (Rosé, Blanco, and Pacifico) and we visited all of them. You can take a shuttle between them all. Since we went for Spring Break, there were a lot of high school and college kids at Rosé and Blanco. Sunset Beach is by far the largest and has the most options. They have golf carts that will take you all around the resort, but you can also walk. Sunset beach had a variety of guests (couples, families, etc.), but since it is so large, it never feels crowded anywhere. Pacifico is adult-only and has more of a desert vibe if that is what you are looking for.
I also wanted to share a few restaurants I would highly recommend checking out. We made reservations at every place before we went, which I would suggest you do, especially if you are going at a popular time. The first place I would recommend is Flora Farms. It is a farm to table restaurant and they have shops, villas, cooking classes, etc. It is near San Jose del Cabo and a very cool place to check out. Sur Beach House was also outstanding. We went for brunch after getting morning massages next door at The Sand Bar. I also would recommend getting a massage here. Book early in the morning for the most peaceful experience (and the best location overlooking the water). I could have done that every single day we were there. We also went to El Farallon at the Waldorf Astoria. It was an outstanding four course meal on the cliffs. I would recommend making a reservation for before sunset so you can enjoy the views before it gets dark. I think my favorite place we went was Cocina del Mar at the Esperanza resort. We went for brunch and the food was outstanding and the location was just stunning. Outfit details are all linked below.
