Fall Floral Maxi

Happy Turkey Day Eve! I'm excited to share this look today because I'm so obsessed with this dress! It is one of my favorite fall looks this year, and this dress is less than $70. It can so easily be dressed up or dressed down. I wore it to a fall wedding we went to a couple weeks ago. It was so comfortable and it is the perfect twirling dress. The skirt has so much material which makes it so much fun. A funny story about this dress is that when we were driving from the ceremony to the reception someone told us to roll down our window when we were at a stop light to let us know my dress was hanging out the door (so embarrassing!). Luckily the dress was fine and we hadn't gone that far.
I am so excited for a four day weekend. Normally we have today off of school, but this year we don't. Unfortunately, that means there is not much time for baking an elaborate Thanksgiving dessert so I'll have to make something easy for tomorrow.

Easy Last Minute Fall & Thanksgiving Ideas

Today I wanted to share a few easy last minute fall/Thanksgiving things. I can't believe Thanksgiving is Thursday! This fall has flown by! If you follow me on snapchat or Instagram you know that I had been dying to start decorating for Christmas, and this weekend we finally put up our tree. I had planned to put up the tree and gradually decorate the rest of the house, but once the tree was up, every single other decoration had to go up too (I just couldn't help it). I also said I would keep up a lot of my other decor and not switch everything to Christmas, but that didn't happen either. It's all Christmas everyone over here (but I LOVE it).

First, I wanted to share about this pumpkin.  I got these stick on decor pieces at Target. I actually picked them up because I didn't feel like carving another pumpkin, but I'm so glad I did. They are so easy to use and stick to any surface. They worked perfectly on the white pumpkin I picked up around Halloween. Now seeing how great it looks, I wish I would have used a fake pumpkin so I could keep it year after year. They've stuck great for weeks and haven't come off at all! 

Also, these leaf cookies are super easy to make and they are perfect for first time decorators.  If you aren't confident in your cookie decorating these are for you! All you have to do it pipe the royal frosting and then flip the cookies over into a plate full of colored sugar sprinkles. These pumpkins are a little more difficult, but perfect for any fall gathering or Thanksgiving dinner.

I'm so thankful for so much every year, but especially this year. I love taking the time around Thanksgiving to recognize all we have to be thankful for.

Happy Friday! I am so glad Friday is finally here! Truthfully I meant to get this post up Wednesday (and then Thursday) which turned into Friday. I had a few baking orders this week that kept me very busy. I'm so excited to have a few days to relax and get ready for Thanksgiving (and Christmas decorating a little too). 

I LOVE this leopard beanie. I am going to be wearing it so much this fall/winter (and it's only $15). A perfect stocking stuffer or easy gift for any gal in your life. This black swing dress is also perfect for layering. As you know by now, I've been wearing this jacket so much this fall. It's still in stock, but I'm sure it won't be for long!
