Camouflaged in Neutrals

Boots: Steve Madden, Sunglasses: Ray Ban, Sweater: similar here, Mittens: Target, Hat: similar here here and here, Turtleneck, Lips: Chanel

Happy Friday! I absolutely love winter neutrals and this is my ideal winter look. It's warm, but has so many different textures and layers that make it interesting. It's no secret I LOVE me some faux fur, and I wear it every chance I get. I love collecting different textures and mixing and matching them when I'm putting looks together. I've also gotten so much use out of my white skinny jeans this winter that I decided to buy another pair! I never would have thought winter would be the season I would wear my white jeans the most, but it is. I just bought this pair and they were such a steal! They are super soft and fit great (TTS).
Also, in the winter the only shoes I actually wear are boots (and occasionally heels). I really never wear flats, even to work. It is just too cold. I usually wear my Sorel boots or Uggs to school and when I have to go outside for recess duty, and I change into other boots for during the day. Some weeks my classroom looks more like a shoes closet with 3 or 4 different boots lined up behind my desk (a girl needs options!).
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Heath Bar Brownies

These Heath bar brownies were a hit and they were super easy to make. You just take a standard brownie recipe, pipe on some chocolate frosting (any recipe you like) and then put on Heath bar pieces. I bought the Heath bars crumbled up already in a bag, but you can also crush them yourself!
Here is my favorite chocolate frosting recipe:
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup butter
2 tsp. vanilla
3 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate, melted and cooled
3-4 tbsp. milk
You could also substitute the Heath bar for Reece's cups (or any other candy) if you prefer!
Enjoy!

Classic

Blazer, Blouse, Scarf not available online (very similar here and here), Boots, Jeans, Bag: Tory Burch (also in love with these lighter colors),  Sunglasses: Ray Ban, Hat: Nordstrom, Lips: Chanel

I love the pattern on this silk scarf. It is a great alternative to a blanket scarf (which is all I want to wear this time of year).  With all the snow the east coast got this weekend, I'm secretly wishing we got a snow storm too (never thought I would wish for a snow storm). If it is going to be this cold, the least mother nature can do is give us some pretty snow. I'm starting to think we won't have ANY snow days this year--major bummer.

Hope you all have a great start to your week! Thanks for stopping by!

Baby Shower Treats

Baby boys (Twins)!

Baby girl (MY NIECE!)

I always love making baby shower treats and twins was a new one for me! I love the way these baby blocks turned out! They were time consuming, but worth it. These baby girl treats were also extra special because they were for the mini baby shower we threw my sister (and niece) this week. I seriously cannot wait to meet her (and spoil her)!

Happy Friday! I have SO many February baking orders (it is a little overwhelming). It is going to be a busy month, but I can't wait to start making Valentine's Day cookies and treats. It is one of my favorite holidays!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Downtown Vibes

Sweater: Nordstrom (similar here and here), Coat: Nordstrom, Pants: Joe's, Boots: Steve Madden, Hat: Nordstrom (very similar here), Bag: Tory Burch, Lips: MAC 'Ruby Woo'

Happy Thursday! This look is from a recent trip to downtown Detroit. This coat is so cozy, I have been wearing it so much! My favorite weekend looks lately have included my favorite beanies & one of my soft faux furs. A ton of beanies are on sale now, so now is the time to buy them! You can find a bunch of them here.
Yesterday we had a little baby shower for my sister (& niece) since my sister is home from Philly this week. It was so much fun and I can't WAIT to meet my beautiful niece in a few months! You can see more from the shower on my snapchat (sjreichel) and instagram!

Thanks for stopping by!
