Christmas Tablescape

Today I wanted to share some pictures of our Christmas tablescape! I love how it turned out this year. For our tree and living room I did mostly gold, silver, and white decor so I knew I wanted to incorporate some red on our table! I wanted to do garland around our chandelier, but because of the shape it didn't really work out or look how I wanted, so I opted for a garland wreath around the top with bulbs hanging down. I couldn't find any napkin rings I loved so I decided to make my own. I found these small flocked pokes that I wrapped around a ring. Then I added a large jingle bell to finish it off. I love how they turned out!
Just one more wake up until Christmas break! I can't wait!!!

Christmas Jammie Round-up

Top, Bottoms, I also got Zach these

Nightgown, Santa slippers, I also got Zach these last year to match and I also go this set

Nightgown (also comes in family sets)

There are few things in life I love more than Christmas jammies. How many new pairs of Christmas jammies is too many to buy in one year (asking for a friend)? There are SO many cute ones out this year - I couldn't help myself. You can still scoop yours up in time for Christmas! I have a feeling I'm going to be wearing mine well into January. Gotta keep that Christmas spirit alive! As you can tell, hanging by our Christmas tree is my favorite place to be. Especially on the weekends in my favorite jammies.

I finally finished my Christmas shopping so it's all relaxation and festive fun from here on out! I can't believe we are so close to Christmas already - now all we need is some snow!

Thanks for stopping by!

Sarah

Reindeer Cookies

I made these fun and easy peanut butter reindeer cookies this past weekend and they are perfect for any holiday gathering or cookie exchange!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup peanut butter
3 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
1 egg
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 3/4 cups flour
Mini M&Ms
Regular M&Ms
Chocolate covered pretzels (or regular pretzels)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix the shortening, peanut butter, milk, brown sugar, and vanilla on medium speed. Add egg and mix until blended. Mix flour, salt, and baking soda separately and then add to other mixture slowly mixing.
Make into one inch balls and place on greased baking sheet. Pinch the bottom of the ball and then flatten it with the palm of your hand - this will make the reindeer head shape. Bake for 7-8 minutes. Take them out of the oven and immediately add M&Ms and Pretzels - be careful, you will need to do it gently. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before removing.
Enjoy!

Sarah

Holiday Twinning #AuntieTime

Jammies similar here and here, Toddler Jammies similar here and here

Loved all the holiday fun I had with my niece, Charlotte during our Thanksgiving trip to Philadelphia. I wanted to share all our twinning details. I wonder how much longer I can get away with all this twinning...hopefully forever! This time she was very much into it and loved every time I pulled out something new for her (and had to put it on immediately). You never quite can predict how a two year old will react to being told what to do/wear. I'll count this one as a win.

Thanks for stopping by!
