Fall Neutrals

Sweater, Scarf similar here and here, Jeans, Boots, Hat

I love neutrals any time of year & these white denim are probably my most worn pair of pants I own. I recently got this sweater and I absolutely love it. It is so cozy and soft, the color goes with everything, and I love the tie detail on the sleeves. Also, it is under $50! It definitely is oversized, so go with your normal size or size down for a more fitted look.
I can't believe Thanksgiving is one week from today! The fall is going by so fast this year! I waited as long as I could, but I finally started putting up Christmas decorations yesterday. Usually I try not to until after Thanksgiving, but I just couldn't wait any longer. Why not enjoy it a little early?!

Night at MotorCity Casino Hotel

Last week Zach and I had a night out at MotorCity Casino and we had an such a fabulous time!  I wanted to recap our evening and share our experience there with you all. We started with dinner at the 4-Diamond restaurant, Iridescence followed by a show, An evening with (the hilarious) Andy Cohen. 

We started the evening in the Wine room with appetizers & delicious mulled wine. Zach is not a wine fan, but he actually really liked the warm spiced wine (as did I, because there is no wine I would dislike). Then we headed to the dining room for dinner. The views were amazing and the food was even better. We started with the Alaskan King Crab on Brioche (pictured above) and salads. For dinner I had the Ora King Salmon and Zach had the Roasted Rack of Michigan Lamb (also pictured above). We both loved our dishes and Zach said it was the best lamb he has ever had. Zach also had to try to Japanese A-5 Kobe Strip (which he said was amazing). We ended with (my favorite) the Melting Chocolate Sphere. It is a dark Belgian chocolate sphere that they pour caramel sauce over to open, revealing a rich chocolate cake inside with fresh raspberries. Yup, it is definitely as amazing as it sounds and I was in dessert heaven.

We then went to Sound Board for An evening with Andy Cohen. The space is so cool and Andy Cohen was very funny per usual (eating Doritos the whole time of course - love how he keeps it real).

If you're looking for a fun date night idea I highly recommend Iridescence! I'm not much of a casino gal, but Zach wanted to stop by the casino as well and it's nice that it's all right there in one spot.

Last weekend we were in Nashville for my cousin's wedding with the whole family, and we had such a blast! Charlotte and I kept showing up in the same outfit, I can't imagine why! ;) 

I loved auntie time and I love Charlotte's sassy personality. She is such a sweetie. Real life you have about 2 seconds to take a picture while she says "cheeeeese" before she is off and running. I had to include a few of those too because I think they are so funny (and accurate).

Happy Tuesday! I can't believe it is already November. The fall is flying by! Just a few short weeks until Thanksgiving. Only 10 days of school! And that means it's almost time to decorate for Christmas - my favorite!

Mini skirts and OTK boots are one of my favorite fall looks. I just love this adorable ruffled skirt, and it's under $40! The color is perfect for fall & would also be perfect for Thanksgiving.

If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat, you know I spent the weekend in Nashville for my cousin's wedding. There was plenty of twinning with my favorite one year old. I'll be sharing more from our trip later this week, stay tuned!
