A major perk of being a teacher is having the summer off. I love that I have more time to try different recipes, and there are so many fun summer treats to make for parties and BBQs. I especially liked making the hamburger cookies (with York peppermint patties) and cupcakes (with brownie patties) with coconut lettuce and frosting ketchup & mustard. The Tigers baseball cake pops and 4th of July cake pops were also a hit! Cake pops are always a crowd pleaser and one of my personal favorite desserts.
I have also been loving skirts and crops this summer. This is one summer look that includes both. This skirt is definitely one that can be dressed up or down and worn through many seasons. I can't believe fall is right around the corner. I will have to wear my summer dresses and sandals as much as possible before summer is over! Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
