So, October is pretty much my favorite month of the year, and that is partially because it is my birthday month. I have always loved my birthday (and it really doesn't have anything to do with getting presents). Birthdays are such a great time to dress up and celebrate getting another year older with all the people you love (and of course a great excuse to eat as much dessert as you want!). On my birthday I like to think about the year and what has changed in one short year. As I am turning 25, it is truly crazy to think about all that has happened and all that has changed in the past 5 years. From graduating college, starting a job that I love (most days) as a first grade teacher, dating the love of my life, my sister becoming a doctor, standing by my sister's side as she got married, finally starting my blog, the list goes on. Birthdays are such a great time to remember all that you have to be thankful for. I feel so blessed to have such an amazing family, boyfriend, friends, job & coworkers. I feel so lucky and grateful for this wonderful life and I can't wait to see what my 25th year has in store.
Now on to the most important part of the post....of course I can't forget to mention how much I adore this Space 46 boutique tulle skirt (this is the blush 22")! I got it this summer and I have been dying to wear it! I could think of no better time than a birthday to wear a tulle skirt (although I do agree with their slogan- any day is a good day for a tulle skirt). It is such a fun and feminine skirt, and I simply love it! I paired it with my favorite black Steve Madden pumps and a black lace top. I will definitely be ordering another one of these fabulous skirts! Another reason I love birthdays is because you can eat dessert at any time of the day.
