Black on Friday

This was my Black Friday outfit. It was a very chilly day, so layers were a must.  It was cold enough to need a faux fur vest and coat. I also cannot go anywhere without mittens and earmuffs or a hat lately (I really can't stand the cold--I'm not sure why I'm still living in MI!). After a day of shopping and running around, it started to snow! Although I don't like the cold, there is something about the first few snowfalls that I just love (even if they are just flurries). It reminds me that Christmas is right around the corner.  I usually try my best to save all Christmas decorations, music, and planning until after Thanksgiving (even though it can be hard) and it is another reason I love Black Friday.
