Staying Warm on A Snow Day

Coat: London Fog (mine is the longer version of this one), Long Cardigan: H&M similar here and here, Sweater: Zara (not available in this color) similar here, Scarf: Zara also love this, Jeans: Nordstrom similar here and here, Boots: Sorel, Bag: Tory Burch, Mittens: H&M, Fur hat: similar here, Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters similar here, Lips: MAC 'Rebel'

One major perk of being a teacher is having a...SNOW DAY! They are just as fun when you are a teacher (if not more fun) than when you were a student.  There is nothing like getting a call early in the morning saying there is no school, turning off your alarm and getting a few extra hours of sleep.  Not to mention being able to enjoy your morning coffee instead of gulping it down while running around after kids and not having to worry about bundling up the kids in a million layers before they go outside so they don't freeze to death (I love my job I swear). Anywayyyyy we didn't really have a snow day we had a "cold" day.  The temperatures with wind chill were -20.  This is the one reason I like the cold.  Most of the day was spent inside by the fire, but when I did venire outside many layers were needed.  I sure am glad I recently ordered they new snow boots and this winter coat I got on Cyber Monday has already gotten plenty of use this year. Hope you are all staying warm, wherever you are!

XO,
SJR
