The first day of school always brings a lot of excitement and a little bit of nerves (for students and teachers). Even though this is my fourth year teaching first grade at the same school, I still get nervous on the first day. I have come to learn that you never can predict what you will experience on the first day, especially with first graders. I always like to wear a dress on the first day and I try to find something professional yet comfortable. This bow dress is perfect. It is lightweight and will be cool enough for outside recess & dismissal duty, but with a simple black blazer it is perfect for inside the AC also. A blazer is the easiest way to dress up an outfit or a dress. I have quite a few that are very comfortable and I wear them a lot. Good luck on your first day all you teachers & students out there!
