#HappilyEverHilbers

The Wedding of Sarah and Zachary from Mike Staff Productions, Inc. on Vimeo.

One year later, I still can't watch our video without tearing up a little. August 6, 2016 was truly the greatest day and it will be very hard to top.  I always thought it was kind of funny that everyone says their wedding day is the 'best day ever', but truthfully, the amount of love, excitement, and joy you feel given to you on that day is indescribable. It has been our best day (so far) because everyone we love was is one room celebrating us and the commitment we were making to each other.  In some ways it seems so crazy that this was only one year ago, and in some ways it feels like it was yesterday. I have loved every moment of being married this past year, through the good & the bad, and I can't imagine anyone else I would rather have by my side through it all. I've loved creating a home together and I'm excited to see what's in store for us this year.  Being married certainly is not always rainbow & butterflies, but I know that together, Zach & I can get through anything.

I cannot believe that it took be a whole year to get this post together, but every time I sat down to go through the pictures and make a post, I got lost in the memories of the day and ended up looking at all 1,400 pictures again and watching hours of wedding film! I am so thankful to have had such amazing photographers and videographers that helped capture our day so perfectly, and allow us to relive our special day over and over. I'm sorry for the picture overload. It was just too hard to narrow it down.  If you missed it, I already did a post on wedding prep and getting ready with my girls including gift ideas, bridesmaid dresses, and such. You can find the full post here

Our amazing photographers were Samantha and Brian from A Thousand Words Photography. I cannot say enough good things about them. From our first meeting, Samantha made us feel comfortable and relaxed. I knew we picked the right photographer as soon as I saw our engagement pictures. They were exactly what I envisioned, and exceeded my expectations. You ca see our engagement pictures here and here. They captured such wonderful pictures rom our wedding that show all the emotions felts that day, and they are images we will cherish forever. It was a day full of so much love and laughter, and plenty of tears (happy tears of course) and they captured it all. If you are looking for a photographer I highly recommend checking them out (you might even see a few familiar faces on their homepage). I'll list all the vendors we used below!
