St. Nick's Day

For as long as I can remember, we have celebrated St. Nicholas Day on December 6th.  Our tradition is that we hang our stockings the night before, and when we wake up on December 6th, our stockings are filled. The original (German) tradition was that kids put out their shoes and St. Nicholas filled them with candy. My mom and her family celebrated this tradition, and our family continued it. It's a tradition that Zach and I are continuing as well! I was so excited to fill his stocking!
