Professional Teeth Whitening at Home with Smile Brilliant

Whiter Teeth With Smile Brilliant

I'm so excited to be sharing an easy in-home professional whitening product with you all today!  Who doesn't want brighter, whiter teeth?  Throughout the years I have tried plenty of tricks and products to achieve whiter teeth. I've tried different whitening toothpastes, mouthwashes, and strips hoping to see results, and was never satisfied with the results.  After talking with Smile Brilliant, I was eager to partner with them and try their product (including custom whitening trays)!  Smile Brilliant's team of dental professionals send you all the materials you need to make your own custom fitted trays, like they would in a dental office (more than a $400 value!). All of the products are easy to use and you get all the perks of professional teeth whitening from the comfort of your own home.

Creating Your Custom Trays

One of the aspects of this product I was most excited about were the custom trays.  Smile Brilliant's custom trays ensure that the whitening product is evenly distributed on your teeth and keep the product in place.  I've tried whitening strips so many times and I was always so frustrated with how difficult it was to keep the strips in place and keeps them from slipping and sliding around on my teeth long enough for them to work.  I also found that sometimes I wouldn't get a good seal and the strips would fall off immediately, forcing me to throw them away before they even did their job. With Smile Brilliant and their custom trays, you don't need to worry about this! They send you a kit to make your teeth molds at home and they even send extra in case you make a mistake ensuring you get the perfect mold of your teeth. They send very detailed step-by-step instructions along with the materials and it is so easy to do yourself. Honestly, I was worried I was going to mess it up, but it was a piece of cake. Then all you do is mail your molds to Smile Brilliant and they create your custom trays. The turn-around time was so quick and I was whitening with my new custom trays in no time! The team at Smile Brilliant was also so helpful and encouraging and you can email them with any questions you have along the way. You can read more about the benefits of custom trays here!

Whitening Process

Once I received my custom trays, I was surprised to see how flexible they were, making them so comfortable to wear.  Make sure to follow the directions exactly when using the product to minimize sensitivity and get the most out of the product. I recommend whitening at night (when you're not planning on eating or drinking anymore for the day).  I also recommend using the product the lowest recommended time to ensure your teeth don't become overly sensitive.  You will start to see a difference in your teeth after just a few uses.  Something that I particularly loved about using this product is the addition of the desensitizing gel. You apply it after the whitening process using the trays to eliminate any teeth sensitivity. After using other whitening products, I always hated how sensitive your teeth feel afterwards.  With Smile Brilliant  this is not a problem! The only sensitively I felt was in my gums after my first application, because I put too much gel in my trays (which is why it is so important to follow the directions closely). After that I had no sensitively whatsoever! Read more about teeth sensitivity here.  You can also read more testimonials from real people that have used and loved this product here!

Results

As you can see in this before and after picture, the product works great and I was extremely happy with the results and I plan to continue to use Smile Brilliant's product in the future to keep my teeth their whitest and brightest.

Twinning Adventures with Charlotte

So it turns out, taking a picture with a 14 month old is NOT EASY! She used to be so much easier when she couldn't walk - haha!

We went to the park and tried to snap a few pictures of our twinning look and Charlotte was way more interested in the swings, watching the other kids, and watching the water in the creek.  We even dropped one of her shoes in the creek while attempting to take these pictures. Once again, taking a picture with a one year old is no easy task.

I know this isn't a twinning look, but it was so funny because I just wanted to get a picture of my outfit and of course Charlotte stole the show. She was nothing but smiles and wanted to explore everywhere, so we had to get her in there too. She is just too precious for words!

I'm so excited because my sister, brother-in-law, and Charlotte are coming to MI in a couple weeks so stay tuned for more twinning adventures!
Happy Friday Eve!

Peony Garden Magic

Dress similar herehere, here, and here, Wedges also love these, Hat similar here, Bag, Tassel bag charm, Sunglasses

This peony garden is pure magic. The smell is incredible and it's row after row of the most gorgeous peonies you've ever seen. If you are ever in the Ann Arbor area around this time of year (late May, early June), you have to check it out! It's called Nichols Arboretum. This is literally how I imagine heaven would look like. Not to mention after we visited the garden, we went to get my favorite giant macarons. It was pretty much my perfect day.
I got this dress awhile ago and I've been dying to wear it and a trip to this magical garden seemed like the perfect time.  I also just got this bag and it is PERFECt for summer. I added my favorite tassel bag charm it make it a little more fun and summery and I think it pairs perfectly with this gorgeous dress. I linked a ton of similar dresses as well.

White Lace Twins

My dress, My sandals (old) similar here, Baby dress similar here

Happy Saturday, everyone! I wanted to share the details from this look with my niece last week because I got a ton of questions about it. I love this maxi dress/romper and I know I'm going to wear it a ton this summer. Unfortunately, the ivory color is sold out, but it is still available in a beautiful yellow color & black. When you go to the link to purchase the dress, you might notice that the yellow dress on the model seems to be very low cut. For some reason, the ivory isn't like that. I thought it was just the way it fit me, but if you read the reviews others mentioned the same thing about the ivory one. Truthfully, I probably wouldn't have ordered it if I hadn't tried it on in-store. I ended up ordering it online because they didn't have my size. I know the yellow color is more low cut if you want that. I'm not sure about the black though. The dress is very long so if you are on the shorter side, you will probably need to get it altered (or wear very high heels). For reference I'm between 5'7" and 5'8" and with flats the dress touches the ground (I'm wearing the XS).
If you follow me on Instagram, you noticed that I LOVE to match with my little niece, Charlotte. We had a ton of twinning looks on my trip there last week. I will be sharing the details from our other looks in a couple days, so stay tuned! Also, taking pictures with a 14 month old is VERY difficult - haha! Mommas out there I feel ya!
Have a wonderful weekend & thanks for stopping by!
